What if a new release comes out shortly after we purchase a module ... ?

You will be eligible for a free upgrades and enhancements from our web to the new version for a period of 30 days from order date.


What about upgrades or new versions ... ?

To keep you software current and up-to-date with any patches, enhancements and new features you may order upgrades which will enable you to download a current version of the software module (requires a previous order number).


Can we add additional modules later ... ?

Yes, you may purchase additional modules at any time regardless of the number of modules installed. Installing additional modules take a minute or so and interfacing to any other installed module is automatic. No system manager or interfacing setup is required.


Can the software modules networked ... ?

Yes, you may purchase a multiuser license to network any of the modules.

For example, to network a module between 3 computers, you need to purchase 1 only license for the module and 2 multi-user licenses for the module.

To add a user, order an additional license for the module from Multi-user Licenses (under Categories, left column home page).


Can we purchase additional support later ... ?

Yes, you may purchase technical support beyond the initial 30 day web support period at any time if required.


Where do we find pricing for the modules ... ?

How do we place an order ... ?

To place an order online, click on one of the choices under CATEGORIES (left side of screen), click on a product or service, scroll to the bottom of the page, click Add To Cart and follow the prompts. Credit Card information is transmitted via secure 128bit SSL encryption.


What does the multi-user license cover ... ?

A multi-user license permits a workstation to access the data for that particular module to be accessed on the server (or Main Computer). A multi-user license is required for each module per workstation. For example, for 3 computers networked, one server and two workstations, require 2 multiuser licenses for that particular module. The network setup may consist of client/server, or peer to peer networking.


Do we need to purchase a multi-user license for the add-on module ... ?

No, purchasing a multi-user license for the Platinum module will cover both the Platinum and Platinum add-on modules (you must have purchased a license for the actual Platinum add-on module).


Do we need to be connected to the internet to use the modules ... ?

No, the programs do not need a connection to the internet. The only time you need to be connected to the internet is if you wish to obtain program upgrades, similar to obtaining the latest updates for the Windows version you are using.


Will the module continue to run after the free upgrade period runs out ... ?

Yes, the module will continue to run. There are no time use limitations on our programs.


What is Standalone ... ?

Standalone as it relates to AccountPro software modules means that A) no other AccountPro modules are required, and B) no other software is required other than one of Microsoft Windows 7 / Vista, XP, 2000 or Windows Server 2003 / 2008 with current Microsoft updates is installed.


If we order 2 modules, for example, Invoicing and Inventory control, do we need another module to connect the 2 together so that the products we invoiced will pull them out of Inventory ... ?

No, when you post from Invoicing and the Inventory Control module is installed, the Invoicing module will pull the products from stock in the Inventory Control module automaticvally (auto updating of Inventory may be turned off by the user if desired as may be the case for non-stock items).


Are the programs available in languages other than English ... ?

Yes, you may select any of the languages available from the setup menu, for example, Spanish, and the screen display of fields (and reports) will be displayed or printed in Spanish. The User Guide is in English.


Are the modules Windows Desktop applications ... ?

Yes, they are. They'll run under Windows 7 / Vista, XP, Server 2003 & Server 2008


If we order a download can we burn the download to a CD ... ?

The download file is in a zip format which can be burned to a CD for backup and or installation on another computer. Once you have the download, you do not need to be connected to the internet to install, or use, the Program and User Guide.


What is the size of a download ... ?

The download file is compressed into a zip format and varies between 15 to 30MB in size.


If we order a download is the PDF User Guide included or is it on-line ... ?

The download file is in a zip format which can be burned to a CD for backup and or installation on another computer. Once you have the download, you do not need to be connected to the internet to install, or use, the Program and User Guide.

The User Guide (in Adobe PDF format) is accessed from the program's Help Menu. The User Guide may be saved to your computer.


Do we need any of the add-on modules to run the Platinum modules ... ?

No, the add-on modules are not required to run the Platinum modules. The add-on modules build on and enhance what is already provided in the Platinum modules. Add-on modules may be ordered anytime but require a current version of the Platinum modules at time of order.


If we purchase another computer (or hard disk drive) do we need to purchase a license for the module again ... ?

No, on the new computer (or hard disk drive), install the module from the original setup file you downloaded. Next copy the current data files from old computer (hard disk drive or backup) to new computer (or hard disk drive). You may wish to order a software upgrade to update the module to a current version.


We have a slow internet connection. What options do we have to download the software ... ?

Use another computer with a faster internet connection and either burn the download file to a CD, or copy to a flash drive and use the CD or flash drive to install, or use, the software on the computer you'll be using.


Do we need the Multi-rate Payroll add-on to have several different pay rates for an employee within a pay period ... ?

No, the add-on is not required to pay an employee with several different pay rates within a pay period. See Software Optional Modules for details.


What is an upgrade ... ?

A software upgrade covers a download link to obtain the latest version of the program and any updates for 30 days form date of order. Available to the original licensee. An upgrade is not required to continue using the curent version of the program you are currently using but may be purchased at anytime if desired.


Does the General Ledger include a sample chart of accounts ... ?

Yes the General Ledger does have a sample chart of accounts listed in the User Guide.


How do we import a master file ... ?

The AccountPro Import Data module has details of what type of data it can import.


If there a training guide included ... ?

When ordering an AccountPro module, a User Guide is included with a summary of steps to install and get the module running, and detailed chapters for each function used in the module. For easy reference, the User Guide has a table of contents and comprehensive index for every field used in the module.


Does AccountPro Integrate with QuickBooks ... ?

  • Due to the fact that the level of detail in all AccountPro modules it would not be feasable to interface with QuickBooks.
  • All AccountPro modules print transaction details which may be used for entry into other systems. Details may be filtered by range.
  • An import module is available to import specified master files into AccountPro.
